I didn't prayed for money and luxury,
But the thought of praying You'll be with me.
I didn't prayed for fireworks that I'll enjoy to see,
But the thought of praying my eyes to behold Your beauty.
I didn't prayed for my hands to be busy,
But the hands that could hold on to You truly.
I didn't prayed for prestige and fame,
But to be in Your presence without shame.
I didn't prayed for intellect and knowledge,
But to know how and when to encourage.
I didn't prayed for a healthy and desirable heart,
But to always discern that Your love won't depart.
