To God be the Glory

At the Same Sky

The vast space, where birds and planes fly,
The blue sky that clouds stray by and by,
That wide sky, where rainbows live and die,
Perhaps we are staring at the same sky.

When you're lonely, don't hide it tell me,
I'll lend my ear, your tender words I want to hear.
Laughing or crying on every happiness and sigh,
Perhaps we are talking at the same sky.

Our distance is maybe as far as east is from west,
But that's where God wants us to be, He plans best.
So when you miss me, just look up high.
Perhaps we are wishing at the same sky.

Often times we are tested by misunderstanding.
We just have to forgive for there's a knowing,
That problems will be forgotten by nigh,
For I know, we are praying at the same sky.♥♥♥

The Perfect Rhyme

I still remember that one summer night,
The moon was bright, the air filled with scattered light.
We sat together and talked to each other,
The evening was deep but we cannot sleep.

It was the month of May, and the weather was gay.
I was stuttering and I don't know what to say.
I can't even look in your eyes,
In my stomach there were butterflies.

You made me laugh with your hiccups,
And I think you need a check-up.
Are those signs of true love?
Cause you sounded like a dove.

The best part was worth contemplating,
When I said it, I admit my heart was pounding,
The promise I have given,
Will never be easily forgotten.

To diligently pray for you,
And keep you in my heart too,
To wait for the right time,
Until I make you the perfect rhyme. ♥♥♥

For Me and You

Feel now the cool breeze.
See how those tall trees,
as they drop autumn leaves.
Yet God's love won't wither, it lives,
They are for me and you.

Touch now the rose budding,
Listen how the bird's sing,
Some comforting and some annoying.
Yet God's grace is faithfully unchanging,
They are for me and you.

Look now the sky so blue,
Hear how this poem hits you,
It may not sound to good to be true.
But God's mercy will see you through,
They are for me and you!♥♥♥
